KINNIL OEE

OEE stops being calculated on Friday. You watch it happen

“I'm missing my KPIs and I don't know why.”

Availability, performance and quality machine by machine, the minute they happen — and with the real cause behind every stop, not a generic category filled in from memory at the end of the shift.

What it actually does

From the machine's signal to the number the meeting argues about

Live OEE, per machine and per shift

The three components separately and the composite number, updating on their own. Shift against shift and machine against machine, with nobody keying anything in.

Stop causes, not just stop minutes

Every stop is logged with its duration and its reason. The operator confirms or corrects the cause from the dashboard; what reaches the meeting is a Pareto, not an anecdote.

Digital andon that actually arrives

The stack light works if someone is looking. Kinnil's alert goes out over WhatsApp, SMS and email with machine, cause and time — to the supervisor in a meeting and the manager at another plant.

Automatic shift reports

PDF and Excel at the close of every shift, with the full history behind them. They integrate with the ERP when the data needs to live there too.

How it gets switched on

It connects to what you already have, PLC or no PLC

Where there's a PLC, Kinnil reads it directly over MODBUS TCP/IP, RS485 or analog signals. Where there isn't one — or where the PLC is locked down by the manufacturer — non-invasive peripheral sensing measures current, vibration and vision without touching the machine: no warranty lost and no cabinet opened.

The physical requirement is a 120 V power outlet. Kinnil brings the data channel, so we don't touch the plant network or depend on its internet.

  • 01Technical visit: which machines, and what signal each one offers
  • 02Non-invasive install, 1 day per machine, without stopping production
  • 03Real baseline: we measure before proposing a target
  • 04Dashboards, alerts and reports running with your people inside
The other modules

They all run on the same data and the same hardware. Turn on one, turn on six — the bill grows per machine, not per module.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask about OEE

What is OEE and why measure it in real time?

OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) combines availability, performance and quality into a single number: how much of your installed capacity turns into good product. Measuring it in real time is what lets you act on the stop while it's happening, instead of explaining it in Monday's meeting.

Does the operator have to log every stop?

Kinnil detects the stop on its own; what the operator adds is the cause, and only when the system can't infer it. Logging goes from filling in a notebook to confirming an option on screen.

Is it useful if I already have a SCADA?

Yes, we coexist with it. A SCADA controls your process; Kinnil measures it and makes it talk. They're different layers and they don't compete for the same job.

The next step

It's not about buying anything.
It's about measuring your most problematic machine.

Kinnil Pilot · 30 days

We install on 1–2 machines, measure your real baseline and present the findings with your own data. Success criteria agreed from day one.
