The mill is your most expensive asset. Now it's also your best measured

Condition monitoring and specific energy for mine equipment: continuous kWh/ton, AI-classified equipment states and unproductive time exposed — without stopping the operation and without touching the mine's network.

The pains we solve

If this sounds like your unit, Kinnil is for your unit

Energy managed off the utility bill

The bill arrives a month late and aggregated. Kinnil measures each machine's specific energy continuously — kWh per ton, against a scientific setpoint.

Equipment condition is an opinion

Without continuous measurement, 'the mill is running fine' is a perception. With condition monitoring it's a data point: vibration, current and temperature against its baseline.

The mine's network is untouchable

And we don't touch it. The Nidus gateway processes on site and transmits over its own cellular channel: zero access to your control systems, zero dependence on your internet.

The modules that do the work

Turn them on to match your operation — you only pay for what you use.

KINNIL ENERGY

Energy and sustainability

kWh per unit produced and AI-driven specific energy. Coming soon: emitted gases (CO₂e) and Paris Agreement-aligned variables for your ESG reports.

KINNIL CM

Equipment condition

Vibration, temperature, consumption. Catch the anomaly before the failure.

KINNIL DAQ

Data acquisition

Reads 32+ variables from your PLCs and turns them into alerts and reports.

KINNIL MTTO

Maintenance

MTTA, MTTR, MTBF, logs and recurring-failure analysis.

Already in operation

20 h/day of unproductive time exposed

At La Plomosa, a mill instrumented in 1 day revealed its real baseline: a 14.15 kWh/ton setpoint and states in real time.

Frequently asked questions

What they ask at the mine

What is condition monitoring and what does it prevent?

It's the continuous measurement of a machine's condition — vibration, temperature, consumption — to catch the anomaly before the failure. On a mill or a conveyor, that's the difference between scheduled maintenance and an unplanned stop of the entire operation.

What is specific energy and why does it matter?

It's the kWh it costs to process each ton. It's the number that connects the operation to the income statement: a mill off its setpoint burns money even while 'it's running'. Kinnil computes it continuously and uses AI to classify the equipment's states.

Do you need access to the mine's network or internet?

No. The Kinnil device processes on site and transmits over its own channel. Your network and your control systems stay untouched.

How long does installation take on mine equipment?

1 day per machine, with non-invasive sensing and without stopping the operation. All it needs is a 120 V power outlet.

The next step

It's not about buying anything.
It's about measuring your most problematic machine.

Kinnil Pilot · 30 days

We install on 1–2 machines, measure your real baseline and present the findings with your own data. Success criteria agreed from day one.
