Measuring a plant shouldn't open a new door into the network that runs it. Kinnil's architecture is designed around that constraint: we read from the outside, process on site and transmit over a channel that isn't yours.

If your team needs the detail in writing for its internal process, we deliver it in the technical session.

NDA before installing

We sign the confidentiality agreement before a sensor touches your plant. Any process information generated belongs to your company from minute one.

Zero access to control systems

By default Kinnil only reads. We don't ask for your SCADA credentials, or open ports in your firewall, or a VPN into your industrial network.

Independent data channel

Transmission goes out over the gateway's own cellular link. It doesn't consume your bandwidth or depend on your internet being up.

Role-based permissions, defined with you

Who sees which plant, which line and which report is defined during implementation. Production, maintenance and management don't need to see the same thing.

Certified infrastructure and process

The cloud is certified AWS; PID Electronics' operation runs under ISO 9001:2015. Neither one is a statement of intent.

What the IT department asks

Is Kinnil a SCADA?

No — and that's on purpose. A SCADA controls your process; Kinnil measures it and makes it talk. By default we only read: that's why there's no risk, no downtime and no months-long project. And when your operation requires it, Kinnil can execute actions through your PLC — stopping a process or starting operations — always under rules you define. If you already have a SCADA, we coexist with it.

Do you need access to my network or my internet?

No. Kinnil equipment processes on site and transmits over its own channel. Your network and your control systems stay untouched.

What happens to my data if I stop being a customer?

It stays yours. Ownership doesn't change because the service ends, and handing over the history is agreed in writing before installing — not once there's an argument.

Can you execute actions on my process?

Only if you enable it. Control — stopping a process or starting operations through your PLC — is an optional capability switched on under rules your team defines. The default mode is read-only.
